The Aesthetic Edge Volite Treatment Process
- Ensure there is no infection, injury, bruising, or wound on or around the treatment area.
- Consult your medical healthcare provider if you have any active infection, allergy/hypersensitivity to Hyaluronic Acid, glabellar necrosis, active herpes, keloids, cancer, allergy to lidocaine, etc.
- Inform your doctor if you are currently taking any blood thinners or anticoagulants.
- Refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours before the treatment.
- Our doctors perform a comprehensive consultation to assess treatment options and understand your expectations and concerns.
- A local anesthetic cream is applied to the treatment areas and left on for 30 to 45 minutes. Subsequently, the area is cleaned.
- The doctor will identify and mark the specific areas for treatment before injecting the calculated units into those marked areas.
- Possible side effects include redness, bruising, and minor discomfort at the injection site, which typically resolve within 24 to 48 hours.
- Abstain from consuming alcohol for 12 hours after the treatment. • Avoid washing your face, applying moisturizers, or putting on makeup in the treated area for at least 24 hours post-treatment.
- Refrain from touching and massaging the injected regions for the next 24-48 hours.
- Avoid facials or using steam on your face for the following 15 days.
- Abstain from going to the gym or participating in vigorous physical activity for the next 72 hours.
- Ensure you stay adequately hydrated by drinking enough water.
Risk & Precautions of Volite Treatment
Following the procedure, you may encounter swelling, bruising, and tenderness. If these side effects occur, they typically resolve on their own within a couple of weeks.
This treatment is not advised for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, experiencing a sinus infection, or have hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid.
