HIFU in Bangalore
HIFU — High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound — delivers ultrasound energy to a precise depth beneath the skin to stimulate collagen production, without breaking the skin surface. It is used for gradual lifting and firming of the face, jawline and neck.

Is this you?
What it does for you
Tightening without breaking the skin
The ultrasound energy is focused at depth and passes through the surface untouched, so there is no wound, no injection and no incision to heal.
Lifts the brow, jawline and neck
The areas most commonly treated are the brow, the nasolabial folds, the jawline and the neck — the places where mild laxity shows first.
Results that keep developing
Because the change comes from your own collagen response rather than from a product, the effect continues to improve over several months after the session rather than peaking on the day.
A gradual, natural-looking change
Patients around you tend to notice that you look well rather than that you have had something done — which for many people is the whole point.
Straight back to your day
Most patients resume normal activities immediately. Any slight redness typically settles within a few hours.
How the treatment works
Assessment
The doctor examines the degree of laxity and tells you plainly whether HIFU can achieve what you want, or whether a different approach would serve you better.
Marking the treatment grid
The skin is cleansed and a grid is drawn on the treatment area so the energy is delivered evenly rather than by eye.
The treatment
The handpiece is passed over the grid, delivering focused ultrasound at the chosen depth. Expect brief tingling or warmth at each pass.
The months afterwards
Collagen builds over the following months, so the result is reviewed some weeks later rather than on the day.
Side effects, honestly
Most patients experience none of these. Some patients, in rare cases, may notice the following — listed because you deserve the full picture before you decide.
Redness and mild swelling
Common straight after the session and usually gone within a few hours.
Tenderness or tingling
The treated area can feel tender or slightly numb for a few days. This settles on its own.
Temporary small bruises
Uncommon but possible, particularly along the jawline, and generally clear within days.
Not suitable for everyone
HIFU is not advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over an active skin infection or open lesion in the treatment area, or where there are metal implants in the field. Significant laxity may need a surgical approach instead, and your doctor should tell you so.
About this treatment
HIFU is a slow treatment by design — nothing is added and nothing is removed, so everything you see is your own collagen responding over the following months. Patients who want a change by the weekend are usually better served by something else, and the consultation should say so.
