Hair Fall Treatment in Bangalore

Hair fall is a symptom, not a diagnosis. At The Aesthetic Edge a doctor examines your scalp and reviews your history and blood work before any treatment is suggested, so the plan addresses the cause rather than the shedding alone.

Is this you?

I am finding hair on my pillow and in the shower drain every single day.
My parting has widened and my ponytail feels thinner than it used to.
I have tried three different shampoos and a dozen home remedies with nothing to show for it.
I want to know why this is happening before I spend money on treatments.

What it does for you

The cause is identified before anything is treated

Nutritional deficiency, thyroid imbalance, post-pregnancy shedding, androgenetic pattern loss and scalp inflammation all look similar in the mirror and need completely different treatment. Your doctor separates them at the first visit.

One plan, drawn from several therapies

PRP, GFC, QR678, scalp mesotherapy, topical and oral medical therapy are combined or sequenced to suit your diagnosis, rather than every patient being pushed towards the same package.

Progress is measured, not remembered

Standardised scalp photographs and density notes are taken at baseline and at review, so a change is something you can see side by side instead of something you try to recall.

Protocols are reviewed, not left to run

Response is assessed at the three-month mark. If the plan is not working for you, it is changed then rather than continued out of habit.

Doctor-supervised throughout

Every examination, injection and prescription is carried out under medical supervision at both our Indiranagar and Bellandur clinics.

How the treatment works

1

Diagnosis

Scalp examination, history review and, where needed, blood work to find what is actually driving the hair fall.

2

Plan

Your doctor sets out which therapies suit your diagnosis, how many sessions are likely, and what home care to follow between visits.

3

Treatment

In-clinic sessions are spaced according to the therapy chosen, alongside any prescribed topical or oral medication.

4

Review

Density is reassessed against your baseline photographs at around three months and the protocol is adjusted from there.

Questions patients ask

How much hair fall is normal?
Shedding of roughly 50 to 100 hairs a day is considered usual. What matters more than the count is whether your parting is widening, your ponytail feels thinner, or the shedding has been unusually heavy for more than a few weeks. Bring any of those to a doctor.
Will my hair definitely grow back?
No treatment can promise regrowth. Follicles that are thinning but still active respond better than areas that have been completely bare for years. Your doctor will tell you honestly at consultation what is realistic in your case, and protocols are reviewed at the three-month mark against your baseline photographs.
How soon will I see a change?
Reduced shedding is usually the first thing patients notice, often within six to eight weeks. Visible density takes longer because hair grows roughly a centimetre a month, so meaningful comparison photographs are taken at three months and beyond.
Do I need blood tests?
Often, yes. Iron, vitamin D, vitamin B12 and thyroid abnormalities are common and treatable contributors to hair fall. Treating the scalp while leaving a deficiency uncorrected limits how far any therapy can go.
Do you offer hair transplant?
No. The Aesthetic Edge does not offer hair transplant. We work with non-surgical medical and in-clinic therapies, and will tell you plainly if we believe your case is beyond what those can achieve.
Is the treatment safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Several therapies and medications used for hair fall are not advised in pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Tell your doctor at consultation so the plan is built around it.
Can men and women both be treated?
Yes. Pattern hair loss presents differently in men and women and the plans differ accordingly, but both are assessed and treated here.
