Profhilo Treatment in Bangalore
Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment that spreads through the skin rather than staying where it is placed, hydrating tissue and prompting collagen and elastin production. It improves skin quality and firmness; it does not add contour.

Is this you?
What it does for you
Improves skin firmness and elasticity
By stimulating collagen and elastin production, the treatment addresses laxity at the level of the skin itself rather than by adding volume underneath it.
Deep hydration for dry, dull skin
High-concentration hyaluronic acid draws and holds water within the skin, which is what changes the way dull skin reflects light.
Refines texture and the look of pores
Patients commonly report smoother texture and less obvious pores as the skin quality improves over the weeks after treatment.
Spreads rather than sitting where it is injected
Profhilo is designed to diffuse through the tissue from a small number of set injection points. That is why it improves an area's quality without creating contour or fullness at the injection sites.
Works on the neck, décolletage and hands
These areas age visibly and are often left untreated. They respond to the same approach as the face.
A short appointment with little interruption
Most patients return to their usual activities immediately, with mild swelling or redness for a few days at the injection points.
How the treatment works
Consultation and skin assessment
The doctor confirms that skin laxity, dryness or tone is the concern, and that a bio-remodelling treatment rather than a filler is the right answer for it.
Numbing
Anaesthetic cream is applied to the treatment areas and left on for 30 to 45 minutes before anything is injected.
Injection at the set points
The doctor marks and injects the standard points for the area. The product then diffuses outward through the tissue from each one.
Second session and maintenance
A second session about four weeks later is usual, with the result reviewed as it develops and maintenance planned from there.
Side effects, honestly
Most patients experience none of these. Some patients, in rare cases, may notice the following — listed because you deserve the full picture before you decide.
Small raised bumps at the injection points
Expected, and part of how the treatment works — the product needs a short time to diffuse. They usually flatten within a day.
Swelling, redness and tenderness
Common in the first days and generally settles on its own.
Bruising
Possible at any injection point, and more likely on blood-thinning medication. Typically clears within a few days.
Not suitable for everyone
Not advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active infection, or where there is known sensitivity to hyaluronic acid. Your doctor takes a full history before treating.
About this treatment
Profhilo sits in the same family as Volite — both are hyaluronic acid, both treat skin quality rather than shape. The practical difference is delivery: Volite is spread as a fine grid across an area, Profhilo diffuses outward from a small number of set points. Your doctor will say which suits your skin.
