• Application of a topical anaesthetic cream.
• Application of ultrasound gel, followed by placing the HIFU device against the skin.

• Resuming the use of all skin irritants (including glycolic/salicylic acids, retinol products, vitamin C, etc.) can be done three days after the procedure.
• Daily application of broad-spectrum sunscreen/sunblock is recommended to maximize results and minimize irritation.

Side Effects/Precautions for HIFU
There are no permanent side effects of HIFU. Following the treatment, you may experience slight redness or swelling, which will dissipate shortly. The tingling sensation may persist for one to two weeks before fading away. In rare cases, there might be minor numbness or a rash, which typically resolves on its own.
Individuals with severe or cystic acne, open skin lesions in the target region, infections, or metallic implants in the treatment area should not undergo HIFU treatment.
