Results commonly last in the region of six to nine months. The effect typically peaks around 10 to 14 days after treatment with improvement continuing over the first month, so the clock does not start on the day of the appointment. Most patients have a single treatment and repeat it on roughly that six-to-nine-month interval to maintain the effect.

So the result you are measuring the duration of is not visible immediately. A patient who judges the treatment at 48 hours — possibly still with small bumps from the injections — is looking at the wrong point entirely.
