How long does Volite last?

Reviewed by The Aesthetic Edge medical team

Results commonly last in the region of six to nine months. The effect typically peaks around 10 to 14 days after treatment with improvement continuing over the first month, so the clock does not start on the day of the appointment. Most patients have a single treatment and repeat it on roughly that six-to-nine-month interval to maintain the effect.

The figure

Around six to nine months for most patients.

The clock does not start on treatment day

Worth understanding before you count:

  • Peaks around 10 to 14 days after treatment.
  • Improvement continues over the first month.

So the result you are measuring the duration of is not visible immediately. A patient who judges the treatment at 48 hours — possibly still with small bumps from the injections — is looking at the wrong point entirely.

Maintenance, not a course

Most patients have a single treatment, then repeat roughly every six to nine months. That is a different shape of commitment from a treatment requiring an initial course of several sessions before maintenance begins.

Your doctor confirms your own interval based on how your skin responds to the first treatment.

What determines where you fall in the range

Our treatment page does not name the factors that shorten or extend it, so this page will not invent them. What it does say is that the interval is set for you after your doctor has seen how your skin responded — which means your second appointment is where you get a real answer rather than a range.

Worth asking then: based on how mine responded, when should I come back?

Budgeting for it

Since we do not publish a Volite price, ask for the per-treatment figure and your expected interval together. A treatment lasting nine months and one lasting six have meaningfully different annual costs at the same headline price.

What "wearing off" looks like

Volite treats hydration and texture rather than shape, so the fade is gradual and textural — skin returning toward its previous quality — rather than a contour changing. That is a subtler thing to notice than a filler dissolving, and it is one reason people rely on the interval rather than waiting to see.
