What Changes the Cost of Rejuran (Polynucleotide) Treatment in India

The thing that moves this quote most is not the session — it is the course. The treatment trending as the "salmon sperm facial" is polynucleotides, delivered here as Rejuran, and it runs as typically two to four sessions spaced two to four weeks apart. So a per-session figure tells you very little until you know how many sessions your skin is being planned for, which formulation is being used and which area is being treated. Those three answers are what make two quotes comparable, and most quotes patients bring us are missing at least two of them.

We do not publish a figure for this treatment on this page, and the reason is given plainly below.

Why is a per-session price almost meaningless here?

Because the result is cumulative by design. Rejuran (Polynucleotide) Skin Treatment — Salmon Sperm Facial works by signalling the skin's own repair processes rather than by placing something that sits in the skin, so hydration, elasticity and fine lines improve gradually over the weeks after each session as that response builds.

A single session is therefore not a small version of the treatment; it is an incomplete one. Any comparison that pits one clinic's session price against another's without the course length attached is comparing two different things.

Which formulation am I being quoted for?

This is the question most likely to explain a gap between two quotes, and it is rarely asked. Rejuran comes in a few different formulations for different areas of concern — skin, under-eye and scalp — and your doctor confirms which one fits your concern at the consultation rather than defaulting to one for everybody.

So ask which formulation is in the quote. A quote for an under-eye plan and a quote for a general skin plan are not interchangeable, even when both are described to you as "Rejuran". If the clinic cannot tell you which one, the number has nothing attached to it.

What else actually moves the number?

How many sessions your plan needs. Two to four is the documented range, and where you land inside it is a clinical judgement rather than a menu choice. The honest consequence: the total is knowable after the assessment, not before it.

The area being treated. The thin, crepey skin under the eyes is one of the areas this treatment is most often chosen for — precisely because the aim is skin quality rather than added volume in a place where volume easily looks wrong. A targeted area and a fuller-face plan are different amounts of product and different numbers of injection points.

The spacing, which affects the calendar rather than the price. Two to four weeks apart means a course runs across a couple of months. That is not a cost driver as such, but it is a commitment, and it is worth deciding whether you can attend before you pay for a block of sessions.

Who is injecting, and what the consultation includes. Injection depth, dose and placement are clinical decisions, and the consultation screens for allergies and the conditions that make injecting inadvisable before anything touches your skin. That screening is part of what you are paying for and not an optional extra to decline for a lower price.

Whether numbing and the review are inside the figure. Numbing cream is applied before the micro-injections, and a course implies review points. Ask whether both are itemised or included — it varies between clinics and it is an easy way for two quotes to look further apart than they are.

Why will this page not give me an all-India range?

Because we do not hold that data, and assembling one from whatever is published online would produce a number that reads as authoritative and is not. On a medical treatment, that is not a trade we are willing to make.

There is a second reason specific to this treatment. We publish confirmed starting figures where we have a confirmed figure for the exact treatment, and this is not one of them. Given that the formulation itself is a variable here, a single published number would be misleading in a way that a bare omission is not. An honest blank beats a confident wrong figure.

The consultation fee is waived against treatment if you go ahead, so getting a real number for your own skin costs you nothing extra once you decide.

Does a lower quote mean a worse treatment?

Not on its own. A shorter course costs less, and a targeted area costs less than a fuller plan — both legitimately. What a low quote should prompt is the comparison question rather than a conclusion.

Ask, for each quote you are weighing: which formulation, which area, how many sessions, and what is included. Then the two numbers are describing the same kind of thing and you can actually choose between them.

One thing worth being firm about: a package priced before anyone has assessed your skin has decided your session count commercially rather than clinically. The sequence that protects you is assessment, then plan, then price.

Does being in Bangalore change it?

Not the clinical variables. What it changes is the calendar. A course spread over two to four week intervals means two to four trips to the clinic across a couple of months, and the day after each session wants to be unremarkable — small injection-point bumps and redness usually settle within 24 to 48 hours, which is a real consideration if your commute is in afternoon sun or you have an outdoor function that evening.

What if something else is the better value for my skin?

It may be, and the honest comparison is each treatment against your complaint rather than price against price. If your main issue is dryness, Skin Boosters and Profhilo Treatment are hyaluronic acid and hydrate by holding water within the skin — a different mechanism from polynucleotides, which prompt the skin's own repair and collagen response instead. Which one suits you depends on whether the problem is hydration or overall skin quality and repair, and that is settled at the consultation.

A clinic willing to tell you your money is better spent on a different treatment is giving you the most useful thing in this whole conversation.

Getting a real number

Bring any quote you have, and ask the four questions above about it. Book an appointment and you will leave with a figure attached to a formulation, an area and a session count — which is the only kind worth comparing.
