The caveat the treatment page volunteers itself

Exosome preparations reach a higher concentration of growth factors and signalling molecules than a blood-derived preparation typically does. The trade-off is stated plainly on the treatment page: PRP and GFC have been used for longer, while the research base for exosomes is newer and still growing.

That is worth weighing rather than skipping past. A newer treatment is not thereby unsafe, but "more concentrated" and "better evidenced" are different claims, and only the first is established.

What to ask at consultation

The clinic's stated position is that the specific product used, its source and its screening are discussed openly at consultation. Take that up:

• Which product is it, and who manufactures it?
• What screening does the manufacturer do?
• What are the recognised side effects, and what should I call about?
• Why this rather than GFC for my scalp?

Safety also means not being sold something that cannot work

Regrowth cannot be promised where too little active follicle remains, and your doctor should say so at assessment. Reduced shedding is usually the first change; visible density takes months, because hair grows roughly a centimetre a month regardless of what the follicle is signalled with.
