The price of an oxygen facial turns on two things: what is actually inside the session, and how often you have it. The serums are chosen at assessment rather than picked off a fixed menu, so no two protocols are identical — and because the glow from a single session lasts roughly one to two weeks, most people are pricing a rhythm rather than one appointment.

That second point is the one that catches people out. A quoted per-session figure looks small next to most clinic treatments. Multiply it by how often you actually want to look like that, and you are looking at a very different number.

What is actually in one oxygen facial session?

The Oxygen O facial uses a stream of pressurised oxygen to push hydrating and brightening serums into the skin. Nothing pierces the skin, there is no downtime, and makeup can go back on the same evening.

A session runs 45 to 60 minutes and has four parts: an assessment of your skin type and concern, a cleanse and prep so the serums absorb evenly, the oxygen infusion itself worked through the face section by section, and a finishing layer that seals the treatment.

That is the unit you are buying. When you compare two figures from two places, what you are really comparing is whether both of them include all four parts — or whether one of them is fifteen minutes of infusion with no assessment in front of it.

Why does the serum protocol change the price?

Because the serums are the consumable, and they are not the same for everyone.

Is one session enough, or should I be pricing a course?

Both are legitimate, and they are genuinely different purchases.

Nobody can promise how a given skin will respond, and how often is a conversation with the doctor rather than a rule. But price it honestly at the start: a two-week effect maintained across a year is a different commitment from a facial before a function.

Does the length of the session tell you anything?

A little, and less than people assume.

Forty-five to sixty minutes is what this treatment takes when the assessment, prep, infusion and finish are all done properly. A markedly shorter session is not a better deal — something has been dropped from it, usually the prep or the assessment, and both are what make the serums land evenly.

Longer is not automatically better either. This is not a treatment where more time buys more result; it is one where the right serums, applied to properly prepped skin, buy the result.

How does the price compare with a HydraFacial?

The more useful distinction is not price but suitability. The oxygen facial uses no acids at strength, no abrasion and no heat, which makes it one of the few facials that reactive skin tolerates comfortably. If your skin reacts to stronger treatments, the cheaper option in the abstract is not the cheaper option for you — a treatment that leaves you irritated has cost you more than it saved.

Sometimes the answer is neither on its own. The oxygen facial pairs well after milder treatments as a hydration finish, and where the underlying problem is skin quality rather than surface dullness, the doctor may talk about skin boosters instead. Compatible combinations are confirmed at consultation, not chosen off a price list.

Does it matter who performs it, and where?

It changes the figure, and it changes what the figure buys.

That carries costs a salon back room does not — medical oversight, the assessment step that screens for known sensitivities before a serum goes near your face, and the ability to say that today is not the day for this treatment. City pricing follows the same logic. A clinic in a metro carries premises and staffing costs that show up in the per-session figure. What that buys you is not glow — it is the judgement in front of the glow.

Ask for all three. A price without the third is only half a quote.
