A markedly cheaper price from a setting where you cannot establish who is injecting, what is being injected or how the dose was decided is not the same treatment at a discount. It is a different proposition.

Does the city change the price?

Overheads differ between cities and between neighbourhoods within one city, so yes, geography moves the number. But it moves it far less than extent and far less than the standard of the person treating you, and travelling for a marginally lower quote rarely survives contact with the follow-up schedule — the effect is reviewed at follow-up, and repeat sessions are typically planned every four to six months, so this is a treatment you will want to be able to get back to easily.

What sits outside the quote is anything that is genuinely a different treatment. Hair botox is not a regrowth treatment by itself. It calms scalp sweating and oiliness, which supports scalp health; if regrowth is your goal, the doctor may pair it with PRP or GFC after a scalp review, and those are separate protocols with their own plans and their own costs. A quote that quietly blends the two is a quote you cannot compare with anyone else's.

Is a cheap "hair botox" price I found online comparable?

Usually not, and the reason is the name rather than the clinic. Salons use "hair botox" for a topical deep-conditioning mask that contains no botulinum toxin at all. It is applied to the hair shaft, needs no doctor and no prescription, and costs accordingly. Setting that figure next to a doctor-placed injectable is comparing two unrelated services that happen to share a label.

Before you compare any two prices, establish which of the two treatments each one is buying. One question does it: is a needle involved, and is a doctor holding it?
