Semi Permanent Makeup in Bangalore

Semi permanent makeup places medical-grade pigment into the upper layers of the skin to define brows, lips or the lash line, so the definition is already there when you wake up. Every treatment here is performed under a doctor's supervision, with pigments chosen for Indian skin undertones.

Is this you?

I redraw my brows every single morning and they still end up uneven.
My lips look pale and washed out the moment my lipstick wears off.

What it does for you

Shape mapped before any pigment is used

Brow shape, lip border and colour are drawn on and agreed with you first. Nothing is implanted until you have seen the shape on your own face and said yes to it.

Pigments matched to Indian undertones

A shade chosen from a generic palette can heal grey, ashy or orange on Indian skin. Colour here is selected against your own undertone, which is the single thing that most determines whether the result looks natural.

Doctor-supervised, not a salon service

This is a procedure that breaks the skin. It is carried out under medical supervision, with clinical hygiene standards, single-use needles and a documented before-and-after record.

Your mornings get shorter

The definition is already in place, so the daily routine of drawing, filling and correcting simply goes away.

It fades rather than fixing you to one look

Because it is semi permanent, the colour softens over time. That is a feature — fashions in brow shape change, and so does your face.

Refined at a follow-up, not guessed at

A touch-up session around six weeks later corrects anything that healed unevenly, once the colour has genuinely settled.

How the treatment works

1

Consultation and colour matching

Skin type, undertone and the look you want are assessed, and a pigment is selected against your own skin rather than from a fixed palette.

2

Shape mapping and approval

The shape is drawn on and adjusted until you approve it. This is the stage to be fussy — it is much easier to change a pencil line than healed pigment.

3

Pigment application

After numbing, pigment is implanted in the upper layers of the skin with single-use needles, in passes, over one to two hours.

4

Healing and the six-week touch-up

Written aftercare is provided. Once the colour has fully settled at around four to six weeks, a touch-up refines the result.

Side effects, honestly

Most patients experience none of these. Some patients, in rare cases, may notice the following — listed because you deserve the full picture before you decide.

Swelling, redness and tenderness

Expected for the first day or two, and most noticeable on the lips.

Darkening then flaking

The colour deepens before it lightens, and the area flakes as it heals. Picking the flakes pulls pigment out with them and causes patchiness.

Uneven healing

Colour can settle unevenly or lighter than intended in places. This is expected and is precisely what the six-week touch-up exists to correct.

Cold sore reactivation

Lip treatments can trigger a flare in anyone who gets cold sores. Tell your doctor beforehand so preventive treatment can be arranged.

Allergic reaction or infection

Uncommon with medical-grade pigments and sterile single-use needles, but possible. Report spreading redness, increasing pain or discharge promptly.

Not suitable for everyone

Not advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over active infection, eczema or psoriasis in the area, for those prone to keloid scarring, or during chemotherapy.

About this treatment

Two things decide whether semi permanent makeup looks good: the shape agreed before anything starts, and the pigment chosen against your own undertone. Both happen at consultation, before a needle is involved at all.

Questions patients ask

How long does semi permanent makeup last?
It is semi permanent by design, so it softens gradually rather than staying fixed. How long depends on the area, your skin type, sun exposure and your skincare — oily skin and acid-based products both fade it faster. Most people refresh it periodically.
Does it hurt?
A numbing cream is applied first and most patients describe a scratching or tingling sensation rather than pain. The lips are usually the most sensitive area.
Will it look obviously done?
That depends on shape and colour choice, which is why both are agreed with you before any pigment is implanted. The colour also looks considerably stronger in the first days than it will once healed.
How many sessions do I need?
One primary session and a touch-up at around six weeks. The touch-up is part of the treatment, not an upsell — pigment does not heal perfectly evenly on anyone.
Is it safe?
It breaks the skin, so it should be treated as a medical procedure: medical-grade pigments, sterile single-use needles, a proper history taken first, and a doctor supervising. Ask any provider about all four.
Can I still wear makeup afterwards?
Yes, once healed. Semi permanent makeup gives you a base you can leave as it is or build on exactly as before.
What if I do not like it?
Wait for it to heal before judging it — the first week looks very different from the result. At the six-week review the shape and colour can be adjusted, and because it is semi permanent it also softens over time.
Which areas can be treated?
Brows, lips and the lash line are the usual ones. The clinic also offers microblading for brows and lip micropigmentation as dedicated treatments — your consultation will point you to whichever suits your skin.
