Hair Patch Treatment in Bangalore

A hair patch is a custom-made hair system fitted over the thinning area of the scalp, matched to your own hair colour, texture and density. It is non-surgical and reversible — the change is visible the day it is fitted, and nothing about your own scalp is permanently altered.

Is this you?

I want my hair back for a wedding in a few months, not in a few years.
I have tried regrowth treatments and the crown is still not covering.
I want something I can take off again if I change my mind.

What it does for you

A result you can see the same day

Unlike regrowth therapies, which are measured in months, a fitted hair patch changes how your hair looks on the day of the appointment.

Matched to your own hair

Colour, texture, wave pattern and density are matched to the hair you already have so the join is not obvious at the edges.

No surgery and no anaesthesia

Nothing is implanted, cut or injected. It is an external system fitted to the scalp, so there is no surgical recovery to plan around.

Completely reversible

If you decide it is not for you, the system comes off and your scalp is as it was. Few hair loss options leave that door open.

Suits advanced thinning

Where thinning is too far along for regrowth treatment to give the coverage you want, a patch is a straightforward way to get it.

Fitted under medical supervision

Your scalp is examined first — an inflamed, infected or actively flaking scalp is treated before anything is fitted to it.

How the treatment works

1

Scalp assessment and matching

Your scalp is examined and your hair colour, texture, wave and density are matched so the system blends with what you have.

2

Custom preparation

The base type and attachment method are chosen and the system is made to your measurements.

3

Fitting and blending

The system is contoured, attached and cut into your existing hair at a fitting appointment of one to two hours.

4

Servicing

Periodic service visits re-secure the system, refresh the blend and let your doctor check the scalp underneath.

Questions patients ask

Is a hair patch the same as a hair transplant?
No. A transplant is surgery that relocates your own follicles. A hair patch is an external, non-surgical system fitted over the scalp and it can be removed. The Aesthetic Edge does not offer hair transplant.
Will it look obvious?
How natural it looks depends almost entirely on matching and on the cut that blends it into your own hair, which is why the matching stage takes as long as it does. Ask to see the match against your hair in daylight before the system is made.
Can I exercise, swim and shower normally?
Most day-to-day activity is fine, but what is safe depends on the attachment method used. You are given specific instructions for your system at the fitting rather than general advice.
How often does it need servicing?
Systems need periodic re-securing and refreshing, and how often depends on the attachment method and how fast your own hair grows. The interval is set for you at the fitting.
Will it damage my own hair or scalp?
A properly fitted and regularly serviced system should not. Persistent tension, poor hygiene underneath, or leaving a system unserviced for too long can irritate the scalp, which is why the scalp is checked at every service visit.
Can I have a patch fitted if I have dandruff or an irritated scalp?
Not while it is active. The scalp condition is treated first — fitting a system over an inflamed or flaking scalp makes both problems worse.
Can I still have hair fall treatment alongside it?
Often yes. A patch covers the area you want covered now; medical treatment addresses the hair you still have. Your doctor will tell you whether the two can run together in your case.
