The name comes from the process: a small blood draw, spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is then applied during a microneedling session so it's driven into the skin through the micro-channels the needling creates.

What's actually in that price

The microneedling session itself, at whatever depth suits your skin — under-eye hollows, overall texture and fine lines are the concerns this is most often used for.

What to ask before comparing quotes

Who is drawing and processing the blood, and in what setting. PRP is a medical process from the blood draw onward, and that step should happen under clinical conditions, not just the microneedling that follows it.
