How many glow drip sessions are needed?

The number and spacing are agreed at consultation rather than set in advance, because both depend on the formulation used and on what is being treated.

The expectation that matters most

Results from infusions build over a course rather than after a single session.

This is worth reading carefully, because it contradicts how glow drips are usually marketed. A single drip the week of a wedding is not what this treatment is designed around.

If you want a pre-event glow, ask about something else

A glow drip is a course. Booking one as an occasion treatment is likely to disappoint, and a clinic should say so rather than take the booking.

What each session involves

Usually under an hour once the line is in, depending on the formulation and the rate it is run at. Allow longer for a first visit, which includes the medical assessment.

No downtime — most patients go straight back to their day, with the cannula site possibly tender or bruised for a day or two.

Questions that turn this into a plan

• How many sessions, and how far apart, for my formulation?
• What are we trying to change, and how will we judge whether it worked?
• What is the per-session price, and is there a course rate?
• What happens if I do not see a change by the end of the course?

What it is not for

It will not lighten your skin. Glow drips are aimed at radiance and skin quality rather than at changing your natural skin colour, and if skin tone is your main concern your doctor should discuss what is realistic and which treatments actually address it.
