Glow Drips and Hydra Medi Facials: What Order, and How Far Apart

If you are having both, the facial is what you time to the date and the drip is what you start before it. A Hydra Medi Facials session gives most patients a visible same-day change in texture and tone; a Glow Drips infusion builds over a course rather than after a single visit. So the drip sets the start date and the facial sets the finish — and neither has recovery time to plan around, which is what makes the pair workable in the first place.
That is the sequencing answer. Below is the reasoning, plus the parts that are genuinely decided at consultation rather than on a page.
Why can't both just be booked for the same week and left at that?
Because they are working on different things at different speeds, and only one of them responds to being close to the date.
The facial is a surface treatment: it cleanses and infuses actives, exfoliates dead cells and finishes by oxygenating so those actives absorb past the dead surface layer. Most patients see refined texture and a more even, radiant tone after one session, which is exactly why it is such a common pre-event booking. The effect holds for several weeks with a sensible home routine.
The drip is systemic. It delivers antioxidants and skin-supporting vitamins straight into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system so the dose reaching your cells is the dose given. It also carries fluid, so cellular hydration is part of it. But results from infusions build over a course, and the number and spacing of those sessions are agreed at consultation rather than fixed in advance.
Put plainly: one session of the facial is a reasonable thing to book for Friday. One session of the drip is not a Friday plan.
Which one sets the calendar?
The drip, because it needs lead time, and because its schedule is the one nobody can tell you in advance.
Start there. The assessment decides what goes into the bag — a doctor selects the formulation after assessing you rather than working from a fixed menu, since different concerns call for different combinations. That same conversation sets how many sessions and how far apart. Until you have those two numbers, you do not know when your course finishes, and you cannot sensibly place the facial.
Once you do know, the facial slots in near the date. It is a maintenance treatment on a monthly rhythm anyway, so aligning one of its regular sessions with the event usually costs nothing extra in the calendar.
Can both be done on the same day?
There is no documented reason from either treatment's downtime that they cannot be — the facial has nothing to recover from, and with the drip patients typically go straight back to their day once the line is removed and the site is dressed.
But whether they are scheduled together is a clinic decision rather than a patient one, and we are not going to assert a same-day protocol our treatment pages do not describe. Ask when you book. What we would say is that the first drip visit is the one to leave alone: allow a little longer for it, because it includes the medical assessment on top of the infusion, and that is not a session to compress by adding a 45-minute facial on either side of it.
The practical version for an event week: do them on separate days if you have the days, and if you do not, ask rather than assume.
What would postpone the facial specifically?
This is the one hard scheduling constraint in the pair, and it belongs to the facial rather than the drip. The facial suits all skin types including sensitive skin, but active rosacea, sunburn or an infected breakout are reasons to postpone it, and a doctor checks for those before starting.
Sunburn is the one that catches people out here. A Bangalore wedding week often involves outdoor functions, and if you arrive for your facial having spent a whole afternoon in direct sun, the sensible answer may be to reschedule — which is a poor outcome two days before the date. Front-load the sun exposure or protect against it properly if the facial is the thing you are counting on.
There is also a gentler one worth knowing: we ask you to hold off on exercise for a couple of days after the facial while the skin regenerates. Not a problem for most event weeks, but worth knowing if your plan involves the gym.
How does the drip fit a working week in Bangalore?
A session is usually under an hour once the line is in, depending on the formulation and the rate it is run at. With the commute either side, treat it as a long lunch break rather than a quick errand, and bear in mind that a course means repeating that several times at a spacing someone has set for you.
That is the honest cost of the drip half of this pair: not recovery time, which is none, but calendar time across weeks. If you cannot commit to the spacing, say so at the consultation and the plan can be built around what you can actually attend.
What should I expect each half to do?
Keep the two claims separate in your head and the combination makes sense.
The facial changes the surface: congestion cleared without the skin being left tight and stripped, actives that actually absorb, refined texture and a more even tone — visible the same day, holding for several weeks. Complimentary LED light therapy is included with every session.
The drip supports the skin from the inside: antioxidant support for the oxidative stress associated with dull, tired-looking skin, with hydration carried alongside the actives, every infusion placed and monitored by a doctor with your medical history reviewed first. That supervision is the difference between a clinical treatment and a wellness product, and it is a fair thing to ask about anywhere you are offered a drip.
What neither of them is, is a corrective treatment for pigmentation or scarring. If that is your actual goal, say it at the consultation rather than stacking radiance treatments and hoping.
Getting the order set
Bring both goals to one appointment and let the assessment put them in order — the drip's spacing is the variable everything else hangs off. Book an appointment and mention the date you are working towards at the outset. That is the single piece of information that turns two separate bookings into a plan.
