How many QR678 sessions are needed?

The usual starting course

Around five sessions, spaced roughly three weeks apart. That works out to about three to four months of treatment.

Why "starting course" and not "course"

The plan is not fixed at the outset. Protocols are reviewed at the three-month mark against your baseline photographs and adjusted according to how you respond.

That review is the point of the protocol. It is where the plan is extended because it is working, changed, or stopped — and stopping is a legitimate outcome rather than a failure.

What the review can actually see by then

Reduced shedding tends to come first. Density changes take months, because hair grows slowly — so three months is roughly the earliest point at which comparison photographs mean anything.

Judging it earlier, by impression in a mirror, tends to produce the wrong answer in both directions.

Before the session count matters, the candidacy does

QR678 acts on follicles that are still present. Its effect is limited on a scalp that is completely bald, and your doctor should tell you at consultation whether there is enough active follicle to work with.

If there is not, no session count fixes it — and that is a better thing to hear before session one than after session five.

One timing rule that catches people out

QR678 is generally not started for hair loss of less than six months' duration. If your shedding is recent, the answer may be to establish the cause first rather than to begin a course — which is also when blood tests for iron, vitamin D, B12 and thyroid are most useful.

What to ask about cost
