"Chemical peel" is a category, not a treatment. What sits under it ranges from a mild glycolic pass with no downtime to a deeper combination peel that has you flaking visibly for the better part of a week. Those are not the same amount of product, chair time or risk, so they are not the same price.
Roughly:
- Superficial peels — glycolic, mandelic, salicylic. Lunchtime treatments for dullness, congestion and mild unevenness. The entry price.
- Medium-depth and combination peels — for pigmentation, acne marks and texture. More product, more downtime, higher cost.
