Questions patients ask

Can I have both in the same appointment?
Often yes — many faces have a movement problem in the upper face and a volume problem lower down. The doctor decides at the consultation whether to do both together or stage them.
Which one is cheaper?
They are priced differently rather than one being cheaper: Botox is priced per unit and fillers per syringe, so the cost depends entirely on how much area is being treated. Both are quoted at the consultation before anything begins.
If I am not sure which I need, what happens at the consultation?
The doctor examines your face at rest and in movement. That single distinction — does the line exist when the muscle is still — is what separates the two, and it is not something a photograph can answer for you.
Does one wear off faster than the other?
Yes. Botox typically lasts three to six months. Fillers last considerably longer, roughly six months to two years depending on the product and the area treated.
